Agenda FI Annual Retreat, 8 December [in-person @DGAP]

Dear all,

On 8th December, we will hold our research institute's Annual Retreat. Please find attached the agenda together with guiding questions.

Our annual research planning will occur primarily in our individual programs and projects, as well as in all-of-house task forces (on DGAP's offering on the US elections, European elections). But we want to shape the research institute's overall thinking on 8th December so that these processes happen with a common understanding of what DGAP can achieve.

There will be four sessions: In the first, together with some stakeholders of our research, we will discuss how Germany can more proactively shape foreign policy, also in view of several major events in 2024; in the second and third, we will focus on our centers and cross-collaborative approaches; the fourth session will be moderated by our COMMS team and will address tweaks in our publication process.

There is no great preparation required, but please do thoroughly mull over the questions on the agenda before the meeting.

The in-person meeting will take place on Friday 8, December from 09.00-14.30, starting at the DGAP Dohnanyi-Saal.
